Building this from inside the bag.

I'm a sophomore on the Austin High golf team. Every week I watched my coach hand-type scorecards, calculate averages by hand, and stitch a roster together across three group chats and a spreadsheet.

There are 1,200+ high school golf programs in Texas alone. None of them have a tool built for the way they actually work. So I'm building one.

Coach questions, answered.

Does this replace iWanamaker?
No — Slotted is a coach-side companion to iWanamaker, not a replacement. iWanamaker handles tournament scoring and rankings; Slotted pulls those tournament scores in and pairs them with your internal qualifiers, roster management, and team analytics.
Is it free for coaches and players?
Yes. Slotted is free for high school coaches and their players during the beta. Long-term, the tool stays free for individual coaches — any monetization will be on the school or association side, not on coaches' or kids' backs.
Do scores work with the Texas UIL "5 plays 4" format?
Yes — Slotted is built specifically around UIL format. Top 4 of 5 scores count toward the team total, no handicaps, stroke play. Sloped and unsloped averages both shown.
What about boys and girls teams?
Boys and girls teams are tracked separately throughout the app, with auto-detection from event names and tee data. Coaches managing both rosters jump between them with one tap.
What if our school isn't in Texas?
We're starting with Texas because that's where I play, but the core (rosters, qualifiers, scoring averages) works for any high school program. iWanamaker import covers the 13 states they already operate in. Reach out and we'll see what fits.
